Sewing Club

Clare, one of my customers, runs a sewing club for kids who are aged from 5 years+ and the other day I was super-proud to see this photo ::
15 pretty felt butterflies made by Clare's sewing club kids....Clare cuts out all the pieces and the children sew them together...aren't they amazing?  Clare is also amazing because she funds these classes herself  so that everyone is able to attend (once I found that out I promptly filled a BiG BoX with my felt-y off-cuts and sent it off)
I love this photo...I've printed out a copy and stuck it on my wall because it's so inspiring!
For more sewing club tales you can visit Clare and her blog here.

How lovely! I know how much patience she must have having worked in a school for 15 years and done after school sewing clubs! I have off cuts of fabric if it can be put to use. Let me know x
