The sun has been out all weekend which meant I needed a quick and easy pick-up-put-down project
I settled for hand sewing patchwork hexagons...
...which will eventually become a cushion cover. The plan is to hand quilt it so I can get some practise in for my never-to-be-finished quilt (*you can see a glimpse of this quilt in a post from 2007! it's double bed size and every hexagon is hand sewn...that's a lot of hand sewing!!)

Wow that is quite a challenge you've set yourself! I bet it will be fantastic, the colours are gorgeous! Good luck.
