move over Darwin

So the overwhelming consensus is he ISN'T a Flamingo!
*see previous post if that makes no sense ;-)
and as cute as the little pink duck is .... I wanted a Flamingo!
How about this little fella?
Here you can clearly see the steps in evolution, straight from duck to tall-duck to flamingo!
Have I, or have I not conquered the Flamingo ?
*A great big thank you to greetingarts and her 'make the neck longer' comment...genius! :-)

Glad you've sorted that out! I was scratching my head wondering about yesterday's duck, "Are British famingos different than American ones?"

He does indeed now look more like a flamingo, although I think the beak is still a bit duck like. :) I am in love with these gorgeous little lovelies.

i thought perhaps he needed longer legs. i love the 'duck', though. adorable!!

One more shift might make him more flamingo-y....if you turn his beak upside down so it curves downward....maybe he will catch his shrimp better... :)

Ah, there we go! Much more flamingo-ish, bravo! Glad I was able to help, I'm always at your service. :0)

yay ! isn't it great when someone in blogland says(or types) just the right thing to get it happening. He is gorgeous as a duck and as a flamingo.

I think that the body should be a little longer but he is lovely as he is. Very cute.

You are the sewing equivalent of Darwin! Perfect evolution. x

Of course he is a flamingo if you want him to be - I bet Darwin couldn't sew anyway!

getting better ;-) you need to change the beak a bit and make the neck bend slightly. Just take a look at a picture of a flamingo, you'll know what I mean!
good luck!

I don't like to pick fault but if you had a more hooked beak and a bent leg it would be a flamingo !!! if you do get it right come and show us on www.fiskarettes.co.uk i'ld love to see xxx
