So on Wednesday I made myself a new every-day bag
It has room for everything necessary and it holds it's shape quite nicely (thanks to the interfacing)John took this picture....the bag is empty here and it's my *gasp* hip/leg making the dent in it BUT I am wearing my new Monsoon work trousers and new thin black jumper :-) A close up of the bag because I love how the Amy Butler fabric looks. It's been used for 2 days now so it has a kind of worn look to it, but I like it!!
Making this bag has also inspired me to make something else and hopefully I will make that this evening......

love the bag - and the clothes look very smart too! Lucy x
what a sweet bag! i didn't use interfacing in mine, the corduroy was so thick to stitch anyway!
i saw your work on cutable the other day too : )
Hells bells and little fishes! Looking at that top picture I thought you must be a giant!! But I see now that it hangs low.
And it's nice. Very nice. (so now I'm looking forward to seeing what else it inspired)
Love the bag,how do you manage to make things so quickly!I'm making some bags myself tonight.
I feel very left out that I haven't made a bag yet!!!! :D so I am going to try (and more than likely fail miserably). I really like that Amy Butler print too, nice and bright on days like today. (although this time of year is my fave too)
The bag looks good, I have bought some denim off of ebay to make some little boy aprons. It has taken me ages to find some good quality denim. I think anything made up in denim looks great.
see you later for your new creation.

Really lovely, and that Amy Butler fabric is perfect for the weather just now.
