sofa time

Yesterday it rained. A lot.
I wrapped up warm, put the parcels in waterproof bags & walked to the Post Office, the wind broke my umbrella AND blew it so hard it smacked me in the forehead (I ''ow'd'' so loud in the street that I think people thought I was a little weird!!)
I decided on the way home that some sofa time was needed...so 2pm saw me showered and dressed in Pyjamas, wrapped in a blanket on the sofa with some sewing to do!

and I made some super-happy Giraffe brooches
I hope you all managed to stay warm & dry!!

  1. Cute brooches!
In a way, the best thing about horrid weather outside is getting showered and PJ-d up and hitting the sofa for some crafting.
A good reason for giving up your day job right there!

  9. Oh I love days like that, bad weather only helps to make you feel justified in cosying up on the sofa!
