ReplyDeleteThis afternoon, I tried felting for the first time--a beautifully decorated vintage wool blanket (with moth damage) that I found at a thrift store.
My plan is to use it to decorate two plain glass vases I also picked up as mother's day gifts.
The blanket felted very nicely, but the laundry tub into which my washing machine drains became clogged with wool fibers and overflowed, flooding my laundry room floor!
Ah, well. It was worth it.
